Valley of flowers is a fairyland located in West Himalaya, in the state of Uttarakhand. It is situated at an altitude of 3,600 meters above the sea-level in the upper expansions of Bhyundar Ganga in the far interior of Garhwal Himalayas and Spread over an area of 87.5 Sq. Km. It was first discovered by British traveler Frank Smith in 1931.
