North India Car Rally for Promoting Immunization against Polio, Measles & Rubella

About the event: The rally’s main focus is to create awareness on Measles & Rubella Virus; and to vaccinate children from 9 months to 15 years of age with Measles-Rubella (MR) Vaccination Campaign. The car rally will also campaign for “Keep India Polio Free”. The rally is a lead up to the World Polio Day (24 October) celebrations. It is organized by Rotary Districts 3011 & 3012, Inner wheel District 301, in Collaboration with India National PolioPlus Committee of Rotary International and duly supported by Rotaract and Interact Districts 3011 & 3012, Rotary International Districts 3053, 3054, 3070, 3080, 3090, 3100 & 3110. Rotary International, Government of India, WHO and UNICEF are the partners for the campaign. The event will start from Sarojini Nagar Market Metro statio Near Post office at 11:45 am and will culminate at Nehru Park, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi at 2.45 pm

Participants in the rally will be Mr. Sushil Gupta, Rotary International President Nominee, Ambassadors from Peru, Taiwan and many more countries, Officials from NDMC, WHO, UNICEF, Government of India, Sunita Choken (Solo Cyclist and Experience mountaineer – Scaled Mt. Everest in 2011, Cycled from Kanyakumari to Khardung La Pass (4656 km) in 46 days, Awarded Nari Shakti Award by Honorable President of India in 2016, Received Kalpana Chawla Award 2018) and Megha Dubey (Mrs. India Universe 2017 Runner Up & Mrs. East Asia Earth 2018).
