The United Nations has proclaimed 2017 as the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development (IYSTD 2017). A/RES/70/193

The primary aim of International Year of Sustainable Tourism (IYSTD 2017) is to emphasize on sharing global perspectives, ranging from climate change to industry innovation through the perspective of Sustainable Tourism.

The Opportunity

IYSTD 2017 is part of UNITES 2017 conference which will consist of movie screenings, competitions, lectures and presentations about Space, Sustainable Tourism & United Nations Global Goals. It will be held on 30 December 2017.
