Gurgaon Children's Literature Festival is celebrated for the love for stories, literature, and books, wherein we invite renowned authors, storytellers, and illustrators who weave magic with words in engaging sessions for children and their parents. The festival will include musical storytelling, theatrical enactment of stories engaging book reading sessions by children's book authors. The event will observe sessions by renowned storytellers and authors like Rupa Gulab, Deepak Dalal, Geeta Ramanujam, Dr. Tanu Shree Singh, Kamal Kabuliwala and many more.
This literature festival is an effort to build a passion for reading among children and parents. It is a small movement by Vega School to bring awareness in Gurgaon about reading good literature. This Litfest is based on the social cause of bridging the gap between literature and the love for stories and reading, hence the festival is not limited to Vega learners, and is open to the whole Gurgaon community.
GCLF is Gurgaon's only literature festival for children, with 2017 being the founding year for the same. The first year of the festival drew a huge fanfare and was attended byover 2,000 people over a span of two days.
