APAIE 2020 Conference and Exhibition

The APAIE Conference and Exhibition brings together thousands of professionals who are passionate about international education from across the globe to the Asia-Pacific region to network, improve professional skills and learn about new developments in international education.

The Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) host this annual event in the goal of encouraging greater cooperation between institutions, to enrich and support international programmes, activities and exchanges, and to promote the value of international education. 

APAIE 2020 will be an especially exciting event as it marks the first time the APAIE Conference and Exhibition is held on the 'other side' of the Pacific Ocean, in the Americas. Vancouver will proudly host the conference from March 22 - 26, 2020 at the Vancouver Convention Centre. 

Under the theme of 'Bridging Oceans - Internationalization and Higher Education in the Asia Pacific,' the conference program will highlight global practices and strategies in five key areas of focus through presentations, poster presentations, and pre-conference workshops. Conference delegates will walk away feeling inspired on how to better engage indigenous and newcomer communities, support interculturalization and internationalization, improve the student experience, create opportunities for next-generation collaborations and meet the 21st-century education demands.
