DESCRIPTION:

Startup Expo is an event that brings together startups, investors, mentors, and other players in the startup ecosystem to showcase innovative products, services, and ideas. It provides a platform for startups to connect with potential investors, customers, partners, and employees, and to gain visibility and feedback from the public.

The goal of Startup Expo is to foster entrepreneurship, innovation, and collaboration, and to promote the growth and success of startups. It can be a valuable opportunity for startups to learn from others, to validate their ideas, to gain traction, and to scale their businesses.

EVENT FLOW:

• The event would begin at the initial registration stage, where all participants would be required to register details of their startup along with team member details on the e-Cell official website.

• The registered participants will be then allotted a particular kiosk depending on the slab kiosk they prefer to choose.

• The event on the main day would begin with a networking zone with each startup displaying particular startups in front of Investors and VCs in the form of a pitch.

• In this round the startups will be evaluated based on the points system allotted by the investors and VCs. There are separate rewards for top 3, top 5 and top 10 startups.

• They will then be escorted to their respective stalls where they can be approached particularly by investors and VCs.

• A centre stage stall is registered by e-Cell KIET in association with all the startups who wish to look for interns providing an internship opportunity to students from the college as well students across colleges.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. Stall owners – only the registered team of participants can be allowed in the stall. No “booth buddies” i.e. family, friends etc. who are not registered to attend, are allowed. Only two people per startup will be accommodated by us.

2.  Payment terms – all payments are required to be made in advance for the event.

3.  Cancellation Policy: No cancellation whatsoever would be made once the startup  registration is done.

4.  Pack In and Pack Out:

• Setup time: All startups will be allowed 3 hours to set up their stalls before the event starts.

•  Packup time: All startups are required to close by 8 pm on the event day. 

1. All banners/boards and other collateral, display products etc. charges will be borne by the individual startup including their transport to and from the event venue.
