Organised by Plant Heritage Dorset (reg Charity). Proceeds support plant conservation, education and events in Dorset. Up to 30 stalls offering a very wide range of plants, at reasonable prices direct from the growers. Also craft stalls, blacksmith, wildlife stalls and our solar-powered barista coffee stall. The fair is open 10am -3pm and costs £7.00 to get in, which includes free access to the award winning subtropical gardens (20 acres) until 5pm - this would normally cost £12.95. Admission is free to UK Plant Heritage members, on production of a current card. In addition to the nurseries, Plant Heritage also has its own large plant stall selling interesting and unusual plants, grown by it's own members (some are National Collection Holders) - 50% of these plant sales goes to charity. Plant sales are by cash and card (4G signal can be patchy). Abbotsbury Gardens are in a magical, seclude location with their very own microclimate. Well behaved dogs welcome on a short lead (not extending) - fresh water provided near the coffee stall. Plenty of free parking. You can leave with your plants and re-enter the fair several times. Join us for a really enjoyable day in beautiful surroundings. Buy tickets on the day or via Abbotsbury Ticket website.
