The Fairfax Symphony joins The Fairfax Ballet in their sixth, annual collaboration to present the timeless holiday favorite, The Nutcracker. This rare DC area production features LIVE musical accompaniment by a full orchestra, together with the dancers on stage!

Starring guest soloists from New York City Ballet -- Claire Kretzschmar as the Sugar Plum Fairy and Russell Janzen as Cavalier

Enjoy a winter wonderland of dancing Snowflakes, Candy Canes, a Ginger Bread House, with epic battles between heroic Toy Soldiers and Mischievous Mice...plus the Sugar Plum Fairy and Nutcracker Prince. The perfect treat for the entire family… experience this magical tradition of the season!
