Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Melbourne, Derbyshire February 2023

Funhouse Comedy Club returns to Melbourne Sporting Partnership, on Friday February 3rd for a laughter packed night.

Topping the bill is winner of ITV's 'Show Me The Funny' the instantly loveable and unique Patrick Monahan, with his trademark hyperactive and freewheeling charm. Following the release of his debut DVD he was a guest on Loose Women and also appeared alongside Philip Schofield and Jason Manford on ITV's Comedy Annual. More recently he appeared on ITV's Splash. Of Irish-Iranian decent, but brought up on Teeside he shares tales of his memories. He exudes warmth and charisma; his friendly style mixed with his hilarious story telling leaves everyone wanting for more.

Opening the night will be Britain's Got Talent 2019 semi-finalist, the much loved Mrs Barbara Nice, who has supported both Johnny Vegas and Peter Kay on tour and has been compared to Victoria Wood, Julia Walters and Mrs. Merton. The malapropism spouting Stockport Housewife is a force of nature, energetically cajoling the audience to take part in her hare brained stunts and injecting an unbeatable air of fun and excitement into the room , having them in the palm of her hand right from the start.

Completing the line-up is 'Brummie' funny man Tom Christian joint winner of 2015 Midland Comedy Awards New Act with his wonderfully clever routines and complex and silly wordplay.

Compere for the night will be the instantly likeable Harvey Hawkins, BBC New Comedy Award nominee who in 2016 won the Birmingham Breaking Talent Award at Birmingham Glee Club chosen by a panel of judges including comedy legend, Jasper Carrott.
