Free Sons of Norway Cultural Kids' Camp

At the FREE Sons of Norway Cultural Kids' Camp, children will have two 4-hour days of fun cultural activities. The camp will be on Wednesday, August 10 and Thursday, August 11th, and will run from 10:00-2:00 each day at Trinity Lutheran Church in CDA. Children aged 4-14 can learn about the Norweigan language, food, arts and crafts, sports, games, and stories. Children will make take-home ornaments and arts and crafts, listen to stories, learn simple Norwegian language activities, eat lots of delicious food, and participate in fun sports and games. Every participant also receives a free camp T-shirt! Parents or guardians are encouraged to come and participate, as well! Everything is free for all who wish to join in the fun. Harald Haarfager Lodge has been in the Coeur d'Alene area for over 100 years, celebrating Norway and its heritage in the United States. We exist to share our love of Norway in the community and can't wait to join in the fun with you!

We ask that you call ahead to let us know that your child(ren) would like to participate in our annual Kids' Camp. Please call our President Cindy McManus at (208) 262-8020 to let us know how many children are coming, their names and ages, and how many adults will also be attending so that we can have enough food and craft supplies for everyone.
