EMPOWER – TEEN ENTREPRENEURSHIP TINKERING PROGRAM

Summary:

‘Empower’ enables students to generate startup ideas, create a business plan, and pitch to real entrepreneurs.
This 25 hour, online program, has a proven framework designed to help students collaborate, innovate and create solutions. The program consists of independent modules, where students work in teams to build and present their business plans to industry experts. Highly interactive in nature, Empower helps participants learn critical life and career skills and makes them future-ready.

Program Structure

The program comprises of six sessions, each covered over a two-hour live session

1) Introduction

 Breaking the Ice, Entrepreneurial Mindset & Lean Startup Approach.

2) Idea Generation

Identifying real-world problems & business opportunities, Techniques to generate ideas & Team Formation.

3) Market Research & Validation

Idea Validation & Customer Discovery, Minimum Viable Product & Revenue Model & Financial Plan.

4) Business Planning

Explore Unique Value Proposition, Define Target Segment & Business Model Canvas.

5) Pitch Preparation

Pitch preparation with Facilitator, Refining the pitch & Practising public speaking basics for the pitch.

6) Final Pitch

Team presentation to the guest entrepreneur & Feedback & Reflection.
