EDP Lisbon Marathon 2019 in Portugal

This year the EDP Lisbon Marathon in Portugal celebrates its 7th edition on the 20th of October. The IAAF labelled marathon is attracting thousands of runners from all over the world every year. Public media is already considering it as one of the most beautiful races in the world. 

The point-to-point marathon course is flat, fast and incredibly scenic. The 42km route starts in the beautiful city of Cascais and heads east along the coast to the finish line in Praca do Comercio in Lisbon. Runners will have a unique view on the Atlantic Ocean during the challenge and breath historical air of the capital city. Furthermore, the race features some live music along the course as well as a great finish line concert. 

Besides the full marathon there will be also half marathon and mini marathon of 8.5km available.
