Following the success of our first 12th Knot Comedy Show, we're back with a fresh line up of the best comedians and biggest giggles. Tonight features talented stand ups Kae Kurd (BBC Live At The Apollo), Tom Lucy (Sky Dating No Filter, Olga Koch (BBC Mock The Week) and host with the most Jimmy McGhie (BBC Russell Howard's Good News).
Smart, sharp and brilliantly astute, Kae Kurd is a young British-Kurdish stand up making a serious name for himself. He is recognised as one of the UK's fastest rising comedy stars, creating and curating content across a range of platforms. His debut stand up special Kurd Your Enthusiasm was another huge success receiving over 100K views when released on YouTube, with joe.co.uk's Creative Director noting "It's intriguing - and exciting - that a performer with such a slick mainstream swagger is able to weave so many socio-political issues into his act." TV credits include Live at the Apollo (BBC Two), Don't Hate the Playaz (ITV2),The Tez O'clock Show (Channel 4) Know Your Rights (own series on Channel 4 OD), Comedians Solve World Problems (Comedy Central), Three Guys Eat (BBC Three) and BBC Asian Network's Big Comedy Night. Kae is also a hugely in demand writer. Most recent projects Charlie Brooker's Cunk and Other Humans (BBC Two), Anti-Viral Wipe (BBC Two), Redknapp's Home Fixture (Sky One) and League of Their Own (Sky One). Kae's brand new UK solo tour The Spoken Kurd is launching in Autumn 2021, with numerous shows selling out in record time, including five Sold Out Dates at Leicester Square Theatre in London's West End.

Tom Lucy has established himself as one of the most exciting new comedians around. Starting at just 16 Tom quickly rose through the comedy club circuit to became one of the youngest professional stand-up comedians in the world. As well as performing all over the UK, Tom has toured internationally in the Middle East, across Europe and a few select US shows in New York and Los Angeles.
Tom has performed two sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival, in 2017 and 2018, picking up rave reviews and adding extra shows due to demand. In Spring 2019, Tom embarked on his first headline UK tour which included a sold out show at London's Leicester Square Theatre.
In the UK, Tom is a regular face on various comedy TV shows on Comedy Central, BBC and ITV including recently Dating No Filter with Joel Dommett on Sky and Stand Up For Live Comedy on BBC One.
In Autumn 2019 and Spring 2020, Tom reunited with Jack Whitehall as his support act for his enormous UK Arena Tour which included 4 nights at London's 02 Arena. Spring 2020 also saw Tom launch a podcast for Radio X - That's A First! - with Maisie Adam.
Olga Koch does stand-up comedy onstage and creates cathartic performance art in the privacy of her own home. She has trained at the UCB Theatre in New York, as well as the Soho Theatre and the Free Association in London.
In 2018, she was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards for her debut hour, Fight.
In 2019, Olga performed her second solo Edinburgh Fringe show, If/Then, at Monkey Barrel. If/Then was also directed by Charlie Dinkin and also produced by Berk's Nest. In 2020, it was nominated for Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival.
Olga has appeared on QI, Mock The Week, The Now Show, Pls Like, The Blame Game, King Gary.
Jimmy was an Assistant Producer for the BBC's Science and History Dept, having spent seven years working in factual television before he ran off to join the stand up comedy circus professionally in 2009. Since then he has performed stand up all over the world and appeared on numerous television and radio programmes including the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5, Comedy Central, ABC Australia, THREE New Zealand, Absolute Radio and many more.
He is "a brilliant talent" (The Scotsman) and with "an easy charm and appealing relaxed manner" (Chortle), he has performed 10 solo shows at festivals around the world including the Edinburgh Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe, Sydney Comedy Festival, Perth Comedy Festival and New Zealand International Comedy festival. He is now a top circuit act in the UK, as well as a highly sought after corporate awards host and TV warm up artist. He regularly provides the studio warm up for BBC1's Graham Norton Show, ITV's Loose Women and Ch4's Deal or No Deal.
