In the series-deciding Game 6, the Phillies took a late lead after a five-run seventh inning. In the bottom of the ninth, Joe Carter hit a three-run, walk-off home run to win the game and the World Series for the Blue Jays. The Jays’ roster also included Hall of Famer Roberto Alomar. Alomar won ten Gold Glove awards in his career, and the Blue Jays have since retired his number 12 jersey.
