Fourth of July Parade
One Community Church and Life in Monroe Church are organizing the Fourth of July parade. If you would like to participate by advertising, in vehicles, jogging, on bicycles, on a horse, pulling wagons, pushing strollers, riding tractors, shouting, singing, walking, pulling a decorated trailer/float/wagon, or surprise them! Love to showcase your convertible car? They are looking for a dozen convertibles for esteemed guests to ride and wave from. You will be driving your own vehicle. Line up for the parade begins at 10 a.m. in the Kroger parking lot and the parade begins at Noon. Light Up the Sky Event
The Monroe Lions Club is once again organizing the Light Up the Sky Event at Monroe Community Park at 500 South Main Street. For vendor registration or questions please send them an email at [email protected].

Fireworks Display
The City of Monroe will have a fireworks display by Rozzi's Famous Fireworks beginning around 9:30 p.m. The fireworks display is set off at the top of Mound Cemetery and can been seen by many throughout the City.
