INTRODUCTION

Psychosocial support is the process of enabling families to recover from the impact of crises and helping them to deal with such events in the future. The world faces increasing challenges such as disasters, terror attacks, epidemic diseases, conflicts and war. These are crises and events that leave the communities in distress and emotional wounds. Basic aids such as food, water, shelter and healthcare are paramount but of importance also is psychosocial support.
