One Day Hands-On Training on Integration of MATLAB and Xilinx for Image Processing Applications

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

An image will represent thousand words. Today image processing applications plays a major role in many of the Information and Technology fields. This workshop will focus on developing the basic image processing applications. MATLAB Simulink platform is to be used for simulating the image processing applications and the blocks are implemented in VLSI.

SCOPE OF THE WORKSHOP

This workshop has emphasis to provide a platform for interaction and to discuss about the recent technologies, new paradigms, technological trends and challenges in the field of logic design and functional simulation particularly for signal processing applications. Also this workshop provides an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas on the topic of importance along with thought provoking technical sessions.

ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY

ABOUT THE COLLEGE

The Anna University Regional Campus Coimbatore was initially established by Government of Tamil Nadu at Jothipuram, Mettupalayam Main Road, Coimbatore in the year 2007. Later it was shifted to under the foothills of Maruthamalai at Maruthamalai Main Road, Coimbatore in the year 2015. The campus has ten PG departments and offers twenty PG programmes in several engineering disciplines on both full time and part time modes. It also offers the MBA and MCA programmers. The campus successfully produces the number of M. S. (Research) and Ph. D. scholars in various engineering disciplines and management studies through our faculty members on both full time and part time modes under Anna University, Chennai.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the year 2007. The Department offers M.E degree courses in Applied Electronics, Communication Systems and VLSI Design both full time and part time mode. The Department has signed MoU with Texas instruments and Altera Corporation. The Department is well equipped with excellent infrastructure and state - of - the - art equipment to explore the technological challenges in the areas of Electronics, Communication Networks, VLSI Design, Signal Processing, ASIC Design, RF Design and Digital System Design.
