CFBC TECHNOLOGY SEMINAR 2018 of IPMA will draw expert faculty from India and abroad to share their experience & knowledge to sensitize the industry, utilities, manufacturers, planners, academia, and regulators etc about technological advantages & challenges of setting up coal-based thermal power plants with CFB boilers. There also will be discussion on best for multi-fuel combustion and the ability to use diverse fuels of different quality: Co-Firing of high ash and moist coal, lignite, Petcoke, Solid Municipal Waste and RDF etc with Biomass. Low Emission of (Green House Gases)- Without use of FGD and SCR/ SNCR, Carbon Monoxide (CO), SOx with direct desulphurisation in furnace with limestone, NOx (due to uniform boiler temperature typically 800oC-900oC), Oxyfuel-CFB with carbon capture and storage (CSS), Scalability up to 800 MWe. (Several units with Ultra and Supercritical Parameters up to 600 MWe in operation), Higher Efficiency with energy saving CFB Boiler Process and Excellent load following capabilities and part load behavior ensuring reliability and availability.
